Our School

Royse City High School is a 5A school located in Royse City, Texas, just 31 miles northeast of Dallas. Our current building opened in 2006.

We currently have an enrollment of approximately 1500+ students, grades 9-12. Royse City HS operates on a 8:35 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. schedule, which includes eight class periods and a thirty minute lunch period. Students may not leave campus during this time as an RCISD high school campus policy.

Our teachers, counselors and administrators work hard to provide our diverse student body with a broad variety of learning opportunities and extracurricular experiences. We are proud to offer students over 30 Pre-AP, AP and dual credit courses, several career and technology certificate programs, four wonderful UIL fine arts programs, and 15 competitive UIL athletic teams. RCHS is proud of its students, their accomplishments, and the contributions they will continue to make as they use their education to serve others.
